I love the idea of Galentine's Day... a day dedicated to women celebrating the supportive women in their lives. 

My "gals" have been there for me always -- gotten me through my toughest times and have been there to celebrate my successes.  We've laughed and cried together, been there for one another's babies' births, break-ups, death of loved ones and everything in between.  You can be authentically youself around your girlfriends (no matter how goofy and weird) and the good ones will love you for YOU. 

But most of all, a girlfriend always gets your back, no matter what.

A good girlfriend will hold you accuntable for the choices that you make and inspire you to grow as an individual.  But most of all, a girlfriend should always get your back, no matter what.

I can't imagine my life without my girlfriends. 

So, on this Galentine's Day, I hope you gather your girls and toast to your friendship (with pie, of course!) and let your girlfriends know just how much they mean to you.
